It all started from my home in my living room, I kept falling asleep on the couch and as time went on the living room became much too overbearing with all the pillows and blankets. It was a mess, pillows, and blankets piled up like mini mountains all over the living room thus, the idea grew for a need to fix this issue.

I thought to myself, how can I make an all-in-one Sporty travel décor Pillow with a stowed away Blanket inside the Pillow? So I started to do some research to see if there is such a concept that will allow a blanket to be stowed away inside a pillow and when the blanket is removed, the pillow will still remain a pillow with its original shape and feel. To my surprise, there was none, so I began to work hard towards building a prototype. I called my mom, who came from humble beginnings and had knowledge of how to sew fabrics. She began puzzling the idea together and made me three amazing prototypes, a square, a rectangular, and a cylindrical-shaped pillow.

Once I picked up the prototypes from my mom, I then began journeying on more research to see where I can manufacture such an item. I researched for month upon month until I finally found a great manufacturing company overseas in India. We immediately connected and started to make the prototype more into a final assembled product. I redesigned the product size, shape, look, portability, and style that came into what are now Pillow wears. This simple idea is very relatable to many people, which solves a problem for the masses by creating more convenience for people, undisturbed comfort by allowing one to have that easy access of comfort-ability anywhere in your home and even on the go.

Pillow wears is decorative, keeps you warm and cozy when needed by having a stowed away blanket inside the pillow, and is also being portable with a removable travel strap that can be attached to sides of the pillow when required. This is good for home décor, traveling, road trips, sleepovers, and much more.

Within three years of hard work and dedication, I manage to build an idea, create a prototype, and assemble a final selling product which has been very much loved by the public. I have sold out of stock many times already because of all the support which I am greatly appreciative of. Getting this item into the hand of the people and seeing and hearing all the positive feedback of this product is amazing and with continuous support and my passionate creativity, I will continue to give the world comfort a day at a time. On this long-term journey, my mission is to give back to others, work with my community and change lives with love and comfort.

I thought it would be a smooth journey but to my surprise, it was not, there have been many challenges I faced. With challenges comes failure, with failure, comes life lessons, which generated in my motivation and perseverance. Some of my struggles have been trying to perfect the product, cash flow, inventory, trying to get in front of the right audience, all these elements and more play a great part in overall success.

My Company Pillow wears was founded in 2018 and what I wanted to do is simplify comfort for everyone on the go, anywhere. I specialize in wearable decorative pillows with a stowed away blanket inside the pillow that keeps you warm and cozy when needed and also being portable with a removable travel strap that can be attached to the sides of the pillow when required. This product is good for your home décor, traveling, road trips, sleepovers, and much more and I am most proud of the product being so relatable to the public once people see a problem which I solved for them makes me proud.
